He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sargent and Daisy Sargent; his wife Anne; his brothers, Bert, Dave, Mac and Bill; and his grandson Jeremy.
He is survived by: his sister Mima Searle (Bill); his sister-in-law Rose Younger; his children, Derek, Kevin (Donna), Lisa Sargent Reed and Michele Holden (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Leah, Sheena, Pheona, Sydney, Christian, Geoff (Thi), Danielle (Francesco), Alex and Mason (Rachael). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
