He was predeceased by : his wife Marie Annette Rivest; and his siblings, Agnes, Larry, Hedy, Leon, Suzanne, Paul, Norbert, Rosalie, Wilfred and Gerald.

He is survived by : his children, Colette Thibert (Gilles), Marc Rivest (Cathy) and Lisa Maisonville (Robert); and his siblings, Elise, Eleonore and Claud. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Erie Shores Hospice.
