George Canning Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2023, George Canning (Kirkland Lake, Ontario), born in Roddickton, Newfoundland passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Canning to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ambrose Canning and Irene Canning; his children, Larry and Sherrilynn; and his parents-in-law, Stewart and Dulcie Brown.

He is survived by : his wife Millicent Canning; his children, Barry (Natasha) and Sharon (Ivan); his siblings, Peggy Fillier (Guy), Stafford Canning (Madeline), Garry Canning (Karen) and Ches Gill (Juilia); and his grandchildren, Brandon, Mark and Hanna. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Georges' memory can be made to the Blanche River Hospital in Kirkland Lake for the exceptional care that was provided to George during his last days.
