John Terrance Schonfeldt Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Terrance Schonfeldt (Kirkland Lake, Ontario), who passed away on June 9, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgina Schonfeldt (Goldsmith) and Jonathan Schonfeldt; his brother Ron (Thelma); and his grandson Wyatt Schonfeldt. He is survived by: his brother Richard Schonfeldt (Marilyn); his wife Claire Schonfeldt (McCool); his children, David Schonfeldt (Vicki), Kelleen Schonfeldt (Marty) and Andrew Schonfeldt; his grandchildren, Gabe McGrath (Amber), Jessica Huot (Kyle), Seana Rossanese (Andrew), Terryn Preyde (Schuyler), Evan Schonfeldt (Liam), Ellie Schonfeldt and Olivia Schonfeldt; and his great grandchildren, Parker, Owen, Lauren, Sam, Mackenzie and Harper.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kenogami Fire Hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a local charity of your choice in Terry's name—preferably one that reflects his spirit of giving and care.
