He was predeceased by: his siblings, Yvon, Jean-Paul, Hector and Louisette; and his former wife Pearl.

He is survived by: his wife Grace Nychuk-Robitaille; his children, Denise (Dennis Taillon), Linda (Ghislain Labreque), Ann (Jean-Guy Labreche), Richard Robitaille (Maureen) and Carol (Yvon Sanche); and his stepchildren, Rick Nychuk (Cathy) and Terry Nychuk (Louise). He is also survived by many grandchildren & great grandchildren.
