He was predeceased by: his parents, Yvon Gelinas and Lenora Gelinas (Bubbles). He is survived by: his wife Gina; his children, Lindsay Balston (Josh), Aimee Gelinas, Tasha Taylor (James), Jayden, Kennidee, Wesley, Violet, Leo, Liam and Baby Heather; his siblings, Janet McGregor, Tim Gelinas (Therese), Raymond Gelinas (Lucinda) and Louise Rioux (Bob); and his son Jaxon.
