The passing of Seija Kant (Kirkland Lake, Ontario) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 28, 2026. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sulo Leppinen and Anni Leppinen; her son David Kant; her sisters, Liisa Koski (Aarre) and Kaisu Naugler (Ken); and her sister-in-law Lori Kant.

She is survived by: her husband Clifford Kant; her daughters, Gina Kant and Lisa Arthur (Mike); her grandchildren, Rebecca MacInnes (Lauchlan), Nick Kant (Jassmen), Zack Kant, Logan Kant (Brad Grenier), Dane Arthur (Sydney Schumacher), Evan Arthur and Reagan Arthur; her siblings, Aila Klimtschuck (Chris), John Leppinen (Sharon) and Angie Webber (Danny); her siblings-in-law, Marvin Kant (Shelly) and Darlene Kant (Roseanne Clyburn); and her friends, Richard and Debbie Pitt. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
