Stanly touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Stanly’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Matti and Martha (Filppula); his former wife Cecile (Fournier); his sister Laila Nupponen; his brother-in-law Oliver Nupponen; his nephew Richard Nupponen; and his brothers-in-law, George Shanks and McCallum.

He is survived by: his wife Denise (Leblond); his sister Helen McCallum; his siblings-in-law, Paavo and Jayne; and his siblings, Irja and Leo. He is also survived by three children and spouses;great nieces and nephews as well as his late sister Laila's and George's daughter.
