He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Rivett and Evelyn Rivett (Leigh); his wife Margaret Rivett (Perrier); his siblings, Leona MacDonald (Stewart), Norma Garlick (Roy), Vivian Grzelak (Rudy), Lorraine MacDonald (Bill) and Mervin Rivett (Alice); his brother-in-law Stan Matthews; his brother Arnold Rivett; and his great grandchild Delilah Rivett.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Rivett, Greg Rivett (Linda) and Rachel Bailey (Derek); his sister Helen Matthews; his grandchildren, Josh Rivett, Erica Rivett, Daniel Rivett (Brooke), Nolan Rivett, Julia Marquez (Sebastian) and Rebecca Bailey; and his great grandchildren, Theodore Rivett, Bodie Rivett and Isabella Marquez.
