William Nichol Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Nichol (Kirkland Lake, Ontario), who passed away on October 1, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Nichol to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nichol and Helen Nichol; his sister Lorrie Souriol (Michael Barrette); his nieces, Tammy Souriol and Bobby-Ann Souriol; and his father-in-law Andy Poupore.

He is survived by: his wife Cathy Poupore; his children, Karigan Nichol (Josh Brown) and Ellis Nichol; his stepdaughters, Sara Lariviere (RJ) and Thea Sangiuliano (Ethan Russell); his grandchildren, Benjamin Lariviere, Connor Nichol, Avery Brown, Kaelyn Carpenter, Abby Lariviere and Ivy Brown; his nephew Tyler Davis; his great-nephew Caden Souriol; his mother-in-law Dot Poupore; and his siblings-in-law, Sherran Rooney (Dale) and Mike Poupore. He is also survived by cousins on both sides of his family along with his friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kl Curling Club.
