He was predeceased by: his parents, Aris Hardeman and Arisje Hardeman (Wallet); and his siblings, Ruth (Adrian Droogers), Georgina (Pete Vanthof), Dianna (Fred), Wilma (Ken Devine), Erna (Floyd Corbett), Jack Hardeman (Margaret) and Jeanne (Marty Morris).

He is survived by: his wife Helen Hardeman (Baillie); his children, Laura Good (John), Linda Morrissey (Paddy), Heather Garfat (Adam) and Hilary Gain (Matt); his grandchildren, Hannah, Grayson, Brooklyn Good, Connor, Nate Morrissey and Keith Garfat; his siblings, Effie Smits (late Jake), Winnie Butyn (late Henk), George Hardeman (Liz), Lucy Baldree (late Bobby), Ernie Hardeman (Rita), Albert Hardeman (Kelly) and Nick Hardeman (Carrie); Ruth Urquhart (Richard Gallagher). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lockhart Funeral Home (109 Montreal St, Mitchell, ON N0K1N0). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at the Woodland Cemetery (Perth, ON).
