“Aaron, you have always been a kind friend to me. You constantly offered me advice, and made me laugh even when carrying burdens of your own. I am very grateful to have had you in my life. We went from doing literally everything together in grade 9, to playing tennis in grade 11, to sharing our aspirations with one another in grade 12. You told me we would stay friends when you leave for Toronto, and although that may no longer be a possibility, I am happy to have been able to call you my friend.”
