It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adelino Gomes Fernandes (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his spouse Custodia Fernandes; his children, Maria (Julio), Lourdes (Antonio), Custodia, Jose and Isabelle (Francisco); his grandchildren, Jason, Tania, Kevin, Lindsay (Stefan), Sonia (Guillermo), Robert (Patricia), Andrew (Maria), Marcelo, Vanessa and Tiago; his great grandchildren, Ella, Lorenzo, Lola, Adriano and Cristiano; and his siblings, Manuel, Maria, Custodia and Jose. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
