He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elfriede 'Elli'; his children, Rudi Schweitzer (Karine), Lori Alten (David), Annmarie (Craig) and Ouden; his grandchildren, Christopher, Eva Alten, Kaitlyn, Sean and Ouden; his parents, Rudolf and Wilhelmina (Zintel); and his siblings, Siegfried and Rudolf.
