We announce the death of Alexander Egerhazi (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 98. He was predeceased by: his wife Cornelia Egerhazi; his father Laszlo; his brothers, Lazi and Feri (Julianna); his sister-in-law Tineke (Jack); and his wife Zsuzsanna.
He is survived by: his children, Kati (late Laci), Alex (Eunice) and Tony (Tracy); his grandchildren, Dori, Evan (Amanda), Justin, Spencer, Sam and Dawson; his sister-in-law Julianna; his nieces and nephews, Gyula, Judit, Ferko, Ibolya, Lazi, Zoli, Roland and Jay; and his family Holland.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Calvin Presbyterian Church (248 Westmount Rd E, Kitchener, ON N2M4Z1). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations would be appreciated to Calvin Prestyberian Church, Waterloo Region Health Network and Canadian Bible Society.
