It is with sadness that the passing of Alice Viola Martens in Kitchener, Ontario is shared. Alice passed away on October 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Brubacher and Ida Brubacher; and her siblings, Ruth, Audrey, Wilma, Reta, Dorothy, Kathleen and James.
She is survived by: her husband David; her children, John Martens (Dawn) and Joy Gleeson (Rob); her grandchildren, Bethany Moelker (Scott), Deanna Oliver (Nathaniel), Miriam Martens (Karl Anderson) and Daniel Martens (Rachael Liness); and her great grandchildren, Jessica, Callista, Peter, Monica, Julia and Edwin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
