He was predeceased by: his mother Vivian Kuhl; his stepbrother Bill Frickey; and his stepmothers, Kaye Riepert (Frickey) and Audree Riepert (Monk). He is survived by: his wife Nina Riepert; his children, Alex, Alissa Bremner, Julia Riepert, Aaron Miller, Malcolm Riepert, Chaz Gill and Jared Riepert; his grandchild Sloane Cecilia Bremner; his father Melvin Riepert; and his brother Rodney Owen Riepert.
