He is survived by: his wife Brigitte; his daughter Ellen (David); his son-in-law Stephen (Kathie); his nephew Michael (Manuela); his nieces, Monika of Munich and Simone (Eli); and his grandchildren, Erich (Cynthia), Brendan (Stephanie), Jennifer (Shawn), Kellen (Lauren), BJ, Ryan (Rebecca), Madison, Henry, Taylor, Rowan, Matilda, Finn, Albert, James and Emma.
