With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Beatriz De Sousa (Kitchener, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 17, 2025 at the age of 95. She is survived by: her children, Hilda Costa, Maria Alves, Jack De Sousa, Julia Da Costa, Isabel Rodrigues, Elvira Grosso and John De Sousa; her sisters, Maria and Lourdes; her husband João De Sousa; and her granddaughter Jessica. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and as well as her children's spouses.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima R. C. Church (300 Simeon St, Kitchener, ON N2H1T5). A burial was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Williamsburg Cemetery (1541 Fischer-Hallman Rd, Kitchener, ON N2R1P6).
