We bid farewell to Berta Marina Costa (Kitchener, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 11, 2025 at the age of 79. Berta touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel; her grandson Andrew; and her sisters, Natalia Carreiro and Conceicao Cabral. She is survived by: her children, Anna McCrindell (Rob), Luisa Growden (Chuck), Debbie Moore (Trevor) and Duane Costa (Ale); her grandchildren, Clayton (Jill), Katie, Samuel, Max, Marina, Joshua, Tyson, Sophie, Grace and Tiago; and her sibling Eduarda Do Alamo.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Daniel R. C. Church (29 Midland Dr, Kitchener, ON N2A2A9). A burial was held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Woodland Cemetery (119 Arlington Blvd, Kitchener, ON N2A2G8).
