She was predeceased by: her parents, Lena Dougherty and Mac Isaiah Dougherty; and her sisters, Heather Barton (Greg) of Beaverton, Oregon, Rheta Young (Dennis) and Kathy Lublin (Phil).
She is survived by: her spouse Clare Weiler; her children, Clare (Butch), Ted Ross (Helen), Paul Weiler, Cheri Cabral (Armando) and Steven Weiler (Bonnie); her grandchildren, Justin, Ellyce, Eva, Michael, Sophie, Chris, Dave, Joshua, Myranda, Braydon, Matthew, Carissa, Alyssia, Cameron, Adam and Jenna; her great grandchild Aubrey; and her siblings, Charlotte McCutcheon, Barry, Ted (Cheryl), Ken, Greg (Amy) and Julie Kesselring (Ken). She is also survived by nine siblings.
A Mass was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. James Rosemount United Church (171 Sherwood Ave, Kitchener, ON N2B1K2). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hacienda Sereda (1254 Union St, Kitchener, ON N2H6K4).
In lieu of flowers, Mom's wishes would be donations to Nutrition for Learning at a local school, or the Woodland Cultural Centre 184 Mohawk St., Brantford.
