“Beulah, meaning between earth and heaven. I met Yvonne Woods as a teenager back in the 80s, I remember she greated me with a lovely and welcoming smile. This was the same everytime we met, but I must confess that her chilli con carne was the best I have ever tasted. A master fruit cake maker. Yvonne used to tell me how she loved bathing her feet in the Barbadian sea, I would always picture her doing it since she said it was like cleansing her soul. May you rest in peace sweet Yvonne, Dave and Jack wait for that beautiful smile, your delicious chilli con carne and your wonderful fruit cake. An honour to have met you. I know for sure Beulah means in Heaven.”
