He is survived by: his spouse Trisha; his children, Christie Purdy (Mike) and Dan Hackbart (Mary Rose); his grandchildren, Joshua and Megan Purdy; and his siblings, Gary (Florence) of Waterloo, Bruce (Maria) of Breslau, Gerald (Carolyn) of Kitchener, Neil (Janice) of Mount Forest, Kathryn Troubridge (Bill) of Elora and Carolyn Benyair of Port Elgin.
