He was predeceased by : Jesse Hill. He is survived by : his father Gary Hill; his step-mother Ida Hill; his mother Gloria McDougal; his siblings, Christine McMahon and Michael Hill (Shannon); his nieces and nephews, Alexander McMahon (Michelle), Melanie McMahon, Jessica Westfall (Brian), Tanya Hill and Katerina Hill; his siblings, Nathan and Lisa Rutherford; and his godchildren, Kaitlyn and Alexander Rutherford.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 18th 2023 at 12:30 PM, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 19th 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 19th 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Essex Gospel Community Church (335 Talbot St S, Essex, ON N8M3A4).

If desired, donations may be made to Calvary Kitchener Church, Grande River Hospital or Canadian Cancer Society. Donations are being accepted for: GRAND RIVER HOSPITAL FOUNDATION CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY - SOCIÉTÉ CANADIENNE DU CANCER (CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY - SOCIETE CANADIENNE DU CANCER).
