Catherine Rose Mathias Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Rose Mathias in Kitchener, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 19, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Catherine departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Catherine. Though Catherine may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Mathias. She is survived by: her son Frank Mathias; her daughter-in-law Catherine Mathias; her grandsons, Josh, Eli and ODzFX Kathy; and her brothers, Alfred and Clifford. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren.
