He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Lillian; his siblings, Arthur, Frank, Pauline, Bernice, Edna, Violet, Irene Pettigrew (Shorty), Tom Ebbs, Mary Carroll (Frank), Bill Ebbs (Mildred), Doug Ebbs (Helen), Evelyn Shingler (Les), Jessie Johnson (Jack) and Joan Fraser (Bob); and his former wife Beverly Ebbs.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Amaley (Rob) of Cambridge, Evelyn of Kitchener and Brandi Habermell (Shawn) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Ashley Amaley (Ozee Egbe), Charles Wyrmwood (Kristen), Madison, Mayvis and Violet Habermell; his sister Gloria Pope (Reg) of Cambridge; his nieces, Mary (Bill), Evelyn and Jessie; his close friend Gloria Bricker; and his sibling Hespeler.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Lounsbury Funeral Home (1766 Franklin Blvd, Cambridge, ON N3C1N8). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ernie's Roadhouse (The Queens) (7 Queen St W, Cambridge, ON N3C1G2).
