He was predeceased by : his wife Eileen; his parents, Wilhelmina Armbruster and Valentine Armbruster; his brother Gordon Armbruster (Ruth); and his son-in-law Wayne Hessel.
He is survived by : his children, Robert Armbruster (Robyn Aikens) and Linda Hessel (Stewart Tripp); his grandchildren, Ashley Hessel, Lisa Hessel (Dan Tardif), Benjamin Hessel (Carlee), Liam Aikens-Armbruster and Evan Aikens-Armbruster; his great grandchildren, Brook-Lynn, Braedan, Baylee and Emmett; and his caregiver CarePartners.
