She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Simon and Genelda Simon; and her brothers, Patrick, Paul and Robert.
She is survived by: her spouse Gaskin Dey; her children, Yonnette, Quaison, Jomo (Coretta) and Lucinda (James); her grandsons, Gabriel, Elijah and Ezekiel; and her siblings, Llewellyn, Edward, Peter, Phillip, Joy and Royston. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
