It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Downey (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on March 25, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his sons, Jon (Tiffany), Allan (Aimee), Sam and Shane (Ashley); his grandchildren, Jordan, Lilly, Talon, Angelene, Lucy, Charlie and Kayden; his parents, Marjory Downey and John Downey; his siblings, Tom, Catherine (Geoff Moran), Carol (David Zmija), Richard (late Kelly), Rosalynn (Jim Hahn), Greg (Debra Eamon), Philip (Denise), Chris (Paula) and Jennifer (Adam Sugarman); and his close friend Janet Thompson.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 2nd 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5).
