With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delores Helen Gillissie (Kitchener, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 24, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Schruder and Mathilda Schruder; and her siblings, Stanley Marquardt (late Norma), Leslie Marquardt (late Gerda), Donald Schroeder (late Eleanor), Sidney Schroeder, Clarence Schroeder (late LeeAnn), Dorothy Haskin (late Lorne), Teresa Sell (late Ellard) and Beverly Schruder.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel (Donna), Kevin (Connie Eder), Susan Johnson (Craig), Shelley Duncan (Barry) and Lisa Kuehn (Ben); her grandchildren, Danielle Duncan, James Duncan (Ashley), Rachael Lahartinger (Manuel), Tara Johnson and Angus Johnson; her siblings, Harvey Schruder (Marilyn), Wayne Schruder (Sharon), Vincent Schruder and Joyce Allan (late Jim); and her sister-in-law Carole Colbert (late Jack). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
