She is survived by: her husband Steve Braun; her daughter Michelle Thompson (Shawn); her grandchildren, Jacob and Mia; her sisters, Heather Caron and Yvonne Schmiedendorf (Jim); her nephews, Bryan Andrews, Lucas Schmiedendorf (Cass), Simon and Spencer Schmiedendorf; and her niece Megan Schmiedendorf.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5).
