She was predeceased by: her siblings, Joan Graham (Russell), Rhona Layton (Phil) and Barry Ledwidge (Anne); Ernie Hempey, Tom Hempey (Mickey), John Hempey and Walter Hempey.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Hempey; her children, Caroline Zimmermann (Ken) and Brent Hempey (Tara Proper); her grandchildren, Brandon Zimmermann (Mackenzie), Kaleigh Zimmermann (Devon Murdock), Dylan Hempey, Jordan Hempey and Alexis Hempey; and her sisters-in-law, Wanda, Christine and Barbara. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre (1001 Ottawa St S, Kitchener, ON N2E2X5). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
