He was predeceased by: his siblings, Evelina, Brazilina and Zulmiro. He is survived by: his wife Natalia Maria Barbosa; his sons, Dennis (Vera), John and Mike (Erika); his great grandchildren, Liam, Lauren, Lillian, Laila, Cassidy, Aliyah and Logan; and his sister Maria José.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima R. C. Church (300 Simeon St, Kitchener, ON N2H1T5). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Williamsburg Cemetery (1541 Fischer-Hallman Rd, Kitchener, ON N2R1P6).
