He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul and Katarina; and his brother Paul. He is survived by: his wife Madeleine; his children, Karen, Laura (Steve) and Jonathan; his grandson Dominic; his sister-in-law Rosemarie; his nephew Paul; and his niece Belinda. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
