She is survived by: her children, Nelson Erasmo Sanchez and Salem Sanchez; her child-in-law Yenni Guenther; her grandchildren, Tahilah, Yadah and Barakh Sanchez; and her siblings, Jesus Menchaca, Aholibama Menchaca, Damaris Ojeda, Rosa Dina Nava, Bernarda "Lala" Medina, Taive and Gilberto Menchaca.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Williamsburg Dedication Centre (1541 Fischer-Hallman Rd, Kitchener, ON N2R1P6).
