It is with sadness that the passing of Earl Winslow Guthrie (Kitchener, Ontario) is shared. Earl, born on August 22, 1955, passed away on October 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ena May Guthrie. He is survived by: his close friend Marianne; his children, Natalie Guthrie-Harvey (Nemar), Julie Tennant (Damion) and Tracey Guthrie-Maric (Milos); his stepsons, Jason and Kristopher Cartmell; his grandchildren, Ethan, Sophia, Amanda and Emma; his father Bishop Lionel A Guthrie; his stepmother Phyllis Guthrie; his siblings, Dennis Guthrie (Deborah), Errol Guthrie (Marieke), Faith Jones (Patrick), Judith Guthrie, Phillip Guthrie (Christine), Lionel Guthrie (Sacshorna), Alvin Guthrie (Sarah) and Masrine Peart (Peter); and his brothers-in-law, Rudy Sawatzky (Yvonne) and Rick Elgie (Colleen). He is also survived by Uncle Earl will be missed by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
