He is survived by: his wife Janet Girodat (MacKenzie); his children, Michelle Paleczny (Ron), James Girodat and Alisha Paleczny (Larry); his siblings, Mike Girodat (Marg), Rose Kieswetter (Bob) and Pauline Bogue; his close friends, Carol, Dennis Nafzinger, Jim and Sheree Drago; and his friends, Ron and Julie Hopkins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Agnes Catholic Church (75 Bluevale St N, Waterloo, ON N2J3R7). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Parkview Cemetery (335 University Ave E, Waterloo, ON N2K4P4).
