Though Edith Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edith Joyce touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Burke. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Orazek (Ken) and Donald Whitney (Patti). She is also survived by 5 siblings, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre (1001 Ottawa St S, Kitchener, ON N2E2X5).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to The Dreamcatcher Foundation, The Grand River Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Lung Association.
