She was predeceased by: her parents, Josef Schmidt and Theresa Schmidt; and her brother Josef Schmidt. She is survived by: her spouse Sigi Tondt; her children, Elke Tondt (Tim) of Kitchener and Theresa Turcott (Rod) of North Bay; her sister Heidi Nimmo; and her sister-in-law Dianne Matthews. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
