She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Thuroo and Wilhelmina Thuroo; her former husband John Swiech; her child John Raymond; her stepdaughter Nancy Holtz; and her siblings, Olga Dorscht, Ona in infancy, Era Kaufman, Oma Ferreira, Oscar, Edgar, Elmer and Eldon.

She is survived by: her husband Clarence Kreller; her children, Michael (Sylvie), Gary (Bev), Donna, Terry (Cindy), Theresa Reid (Bill), Marie, Joan Schermerhorn and Paul; her stepdaughters, Sheila Greve (late John) and Linda Drysdale (Tom); and her siblings, Orland (Cathy) and Olena Lautenschlager (Bill). She is also survived by 10 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren.
