He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ford, Ruby, Marjorie, Pearl, Zora and Rena.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Vannatter; his children, Ivy Vannatter, Todd Vannatter (Cindy) and Tammy Kind (Ralph); and his grandchildren, Katie, Eric and Lori.
