We are sad to announce that, on June 26, 2023, at the age of 96, Ethel Dorothy Holderness (Kitchener, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Parrott and Alfrida Hollett; her former husband Rudolph Szymkowski; her husband William Holderness; and her brother George Parrott.

She is survived by: her sons, Gary Szymkowski (Sharon) and Randy Szymkowski (Helen); her grandchildren, William Szymkowski (Jen), Melissa Brent (Shawn) and Wayne Szymkowski (Miya); her great grandchildren, Cameron, Eva and Eli; and her siblings, William Parrott (Gerdi) and Marion Sheppard (Glen).
