He was predeceased by: his wife Betty King (Sibbick); his son Kevin; his son-in-law Klaus Schmidtke; his parents, Frank King and Luella King (Houston); his brother Stewart King; his sister-in-law Norma King; his sister Helen King; and his brother-in-law George Sibbick.
He is survived by: his children, Barb Schmidtke of Oliphant, Karen Yardley (Jim) of Kitchener and Jeff (Meredith) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Shannon Gingrich, Ryan Schmidtke (Melinda), Felicia King, Kyle King (Amy), Shawn King, Colin Yardley (Sarah), Rebecca Yardley (Joe), Emma King and Matthew King; his brother Nelson (Ann) of Baden; and his sister-in-law Dianne Sibbick of Woodstock. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
