He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Nunes; and his child Orlanda Amorim Odete (Carlos). He is survived by: his sons, Fernando Nunes and Philip Nunes (Gina); his grandchildren, Elisha (Mat), Nicholas, Makayla, Makenna, Tyler, Devin, Joshua, Gabriel and Anthony; his great grandchildren, Luca, Isabella, Amilia, Athena and Olivia; and his sister Onoria Fonte.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. (507 Frederick St, Kitchener, ON N2B2A5). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament RC Church (305 Laurentian Dr, Kitchener, ON N2E2N6).
