He was predeceased by : his grandson Josh Zuurhoud; his parents, Fred Gales and Jessie Gales; and his brother Billy Gales. He is survived by : his children, Vicki Baker (Bill) and Jeff Gales; his grandchildren, Jessica Zuurhoud, Scott Baker, Paisley Gales-Cousens and Eve Gales-Cousens; his brother Mark (Ellie); and his uncle Shoek (Melanie).
