He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Koebel; his children, Brian Koebel (Cheryl) and Marie Koebel; and his siblings, Margaret, Jerome, Hugo, Cyril, Ruth, Kenneth, Willard, Sr., Carol, Kay and Betty.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Koebel, Tom Koebel, Susan Kienapple (David) and Bill Koebel (Holly); his grandchildren, Erin (Nik), Chris, Leyla (Wafa), Adam, Krista (Matt), Daniel (Ryanne), Alexandra, Joel (Ashley) and Zachary; his great grandchildren, Myla, Jayden, Deegan and Tervel; his sister Genevieve McLaughlan; and his sister-in-law Mary Mederak.
