It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Walther (Kitchener, Ontario), who passed away on June 14, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frederick Walther to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Olga and Frederick Sr.; and his siblings, Pauline (Emil Hornburg), Stella (Ervin Hoerl), Edwin (Marie), Norma (William Peterson), Irene (Clarence Hahn), Daisy and Douglas.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Sharon (late Gerry Hilhorst) and Fred Jr. (Marg); his grandchildren, Sara (Eric), Megan (Tim) and Ian; and his great grandchildren, Georgia, Zachary, Oliver, Grace and Evelyn.

Frederick's family will hold a private funeral due to COVID-19 restrictions at Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.

As expressions of sympathy, Frederick's family has requested you not send flowers but rather donations to the Alzheimer's Society or People Care A.R. Goudie- Kitchener would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
