He is survived by: his wife Julia; his children, Stephen (Tammy) of St. Clements and Nicki (Denise) of Kitchener; his grandchildren, Greta, Madison, Adam and Aaron; his sister Johanna Eberle (late Karl) of Amriswil; and his niece Patti Tusch of Waterloo. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Blood Services would be appreciated by the family.
