“My condolences to Lorne and family for Gail’s passing. Gail and I met when she asked me to be her pen pal while we played basketball in high school at Deaf school in Milton. I agreed so we had fun with our letters sharing our stories. Eventually I felt so honoured to be asked to be her maid of honour at her wedding in Sept 1973. We got busy in our life that we didn’t continue our pen pal journey. Gail got reconnected with me through Facebook and caught up with our stories not long ago. 🤟🏼🤟”
