He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen; his children, Paula, Anna (Brian) and Bruce; his grandchildren, Mack, Spencer Aislyn (Cole), Alli and Caleb; his great grandchild Maggie; his parents, John Burt (Josephine Driscoll) and Mary Burt; and his siblings, Kay, Joyce, Theresa, Albert, Tom, Bobbie and Mike.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sophie, Tillie, Bernie, Donald (Louise), David (Barb), Darryl, Mary (Keith) and Jake; and his sibling-in-law Pat.
